TrendAI, the AI security leader and part of Trend Micro, seeks a Solutions Engineer to bridge Sales and customers in pre-sales, guiding evaluation, design, and validation of Trend AI solutions. The role demands deep technical depth, client-facing confidence, and capability in complex enterprise environments.

The position involves designing PoCs, supporting implementation, and traveling regionally. 3+ years in cybersecurity or related fields, cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP), and scripting skills

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, solutions engineering, or professional services.
• Experience with enterprise security technologies (firewalls, endpoint security, IDS/IPS, email/web security).
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Certifications such as CEH, Security+, CISSP, or AWS certifications.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

Responsabilités

• Provide technical expertise in pre-sales engagements.
• Design and deliver Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Support customers in solution planning and implementation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across security and network environments.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Channel, and Specialist teams.
• Share customer feedback and feature requests with Product Management.
• Participate in beta programs and stay current with product innovation.
• Deliver customer presentations, workshops, and technical training.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and SE readiness initiatives.
• Travel regionally (approximately 30-35%) as required.

The Role

The Solutions Engineer (SE) acts as the technical bridge between Sales and customers during the pre-sales process. You will take ownership of the primary technical relationship, guiding customers through evaluation, design, and validation of Trend AI solutions. This role requires strong technical depth, customer-facing confidence, and the ability to operate effectively in complex enterprise environments.

Experience & Qualifications

• Required: 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, solutions engineering, or professional services
• Experience with enterprise security technologies (firewalls, endpoint security, IDS/IPS, email/web security)
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Preferred: SOC or Incident Response experience
• Certifications such as CEH, Security+, CISSP, or AWS certifications
• Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
