Responsibilities
You will be the lead technical subject matter expert for cybersecurity within your account teams.
- You will deliver proof of Microsoft’s technology solutions to customers and secure their agreement that our solutions meet the success criteria for their security architecture.
- You provide the sales team with valuable technical insights through business acumen to outperform competitors and demonstrate the advantages of the Microsoft Platform to customers.
- You can effectively demonstrate the value of the Microsoft security platform to both CxOs and IT professionals.
- You will help customers make technical decisions to build tomorrow’s business and IT solutions based on Microsoft technology.
- You will lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, proof of concepts, and pilots to explain, demonstrate, and prove to our largest customers the capabilities of Microsoft's products and services, and how we can make their businesses more successful.
- You will address technical, competitive, and security blockers to accelerate Security sales and customer usage.
- You will own the technical decision-making process at customers for sales opportunities and usage scenarios, tailoring your message, engaging with them, and guiding their decisions.
- You will collaborate with partners and internal Microsoft teams, using our core tools to extend your reach and that of your team, focusing on satisfying key customer needs.
- You will orchestrate complex solutions with internal and external partners for multiple Microsoft products and services.
- You will identify and diagnose technical, architectural, and competitive blockers and help implement solutions.
- You will share practical knowledge to drive sales, deployment, and adoption of Microsoft solutions.
- You will contribute feedback to shape current and future products, marketing strategies, and customer-centric ideas.
- You will maintain and enhance your technical, sales, and professional skills, participating in Microsoft technical communities and industry events, blogs, whitepapers, training, and articles.
- You will be recognized for sharing knowledge and driving impactful work for customers, partners, and Microsoft.
Qualifications
Technical Solution Leader
- Experience in designing solutions and architectures for confidentiality, integrity, and availability across cybersecurity topics such as endpoint detection, anti-malware, email security, user behavior analytics, threat intelligence, identity and access management, threat hunting, and forensics.
- Strong desire to learn beyond standard solutions and Microsoft products.
- Practical skills in implementing solutions, not just understanding what they do.
- Expertise in cloud trust, identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance, especially in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Customer experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture design, migrations, and technology management, including Microsoft 365 Security and Azure Security.
- Deep domain authority with enterprise customer experience in security solutions and knowledge of competitors like Netskope, Symantec, Varonis, etc.
- Knowledge of regulations such as RGPD, NIS2, DORA, and ability to explain how Microsoft solutions address these challenges.
- Experience in deployment and adoption planning using Microsoft FastTrack and partners.
- Ability to foster productive teams and communities within customers and Microsoft.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and demonstration skills.
- Leadership and influence over technical decision makers and industry leaders.
- Experience in consultative technical selling and a challenger mindset.
- Proven track record of exceeding goals and inspiring teams.
- Minimum of 2/5/10+ years in related roles, with a degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Certifications in Microsoft 365 Security Administration or Azure Security Engineer, and additional certifications like CEH, CISSP, etc., are required.
