IXO offers remote, contract-based work developing sociology assessments and scoring rubrics. You will write measurable tasks grounded in sociological concepts and current research, and align rubrics to learning aims using Bloom's taxonomy and related frameworks.

The role requires a PhD or ABD in sociology, an active teaching and research/publication record, and demonstrated assessment-design expertise with rigorous peer review and transparent rationales.

Qualifications

• A PhD or ABD in sociology is preferred, alongside an active postsecondary teaching and research/publication record.
• Assessment-design practice, pedagogical knowledge, literature synthesis and constructive peer review are valuable.

Experience and eligibility

A PhD or ABD in sociology or a closely related discipline is preferred, alongside an active postsecondary teaching and research/publication record. Assessment-design practice, pedagogical knowledge, literature synthesis and constructive peer review are valuable.

Deliverables and pay

Deliverables are teaching assessments, aligned rubrics, literature-supported rationales and reviewed revisions. Scope, schedule and review criteria will be agreed with IXO before work begins.

Pay is $55 $95/hr in USD. Work is remote.
