Tara Gaming is seeking an experienced Intermediate GPP - Systems programmer to implement and maintain high‑performance gameplay features such as inventory, equipment, damage calculation, and world gameplay elements. You will collaborate with designers and other GPP teams, own multiple systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and develop robust, scalable Unreal Engine solutions.

Working with designers and technical artists, you will help ship features and participate in code quality

Qualifications

• Strong C++ programming expertise.
• Strong competence in Unreal Engine, with hands-on experience shipping features.
• At least four years of experience as a gameplay programmer.
• Experience with core game system development is a plus.
• Experience contributing to multiplayer projects in Unreal Engine.
• Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine’s Gameplay Ability System (GAS).
• Experience with profiling tools to identify and fix bottlenecks.

Responsabilités

• Implement and maintain high-performance gameplay features and systems (inventory, equipment, damage, world gameplay).
• Contribute to team-level technical discussions on implementation methods, tools, and workflow.
• Own several gameplay systems and collaborate across design and GPP teams.
