NHS Supply Chain is seeking a Lead Project Manager to guide transformational programmes within Strategy & Change. The role blends agile and waterfall approaches, shaping technology and processes to achieve project outcomes.

You will work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget. The position is a permanent, hybrid role based in Nottingham, offering a supportive development culture, a generous benefits package, and opportunities to influence NHS-wide

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large scale, complex transformational projects.
• Matrix management experience across delivery teams.
• Understanding of MSP/Prince2/Agile or equivalent PM methodologies.
• Experience in scoping and prioritising large changes with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in project cost management across multiple delivery partners.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing a third-party vendor is desirable.
• Healthcare sector experience (public or private) is advantageous.
• Good understanding of logistics and supply chain organisations.

Responsabilités

• Supports delivery of large transformational programmes with budgets up to £3m.
• Ensure end users are supported during delivery to achieve successful outcomes.
• Deliver key strategic outcomes for assigned projects.
• Monitor progress of work-packages, surface issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Deliver projects effectively with business owners and senior leadership alignment.
• Collaborate with NHS Supply Chain providers to meet strategic objectives.
