Une entreprise de recherche en commerce international recherche un Trader Senior pour rejoindre son équipe d'ingrédients animaux. Le candidat idéal a au moins 8 ans d'expérience dans le trading d'ingrédients animaux, possède un réseau international solide et a une connaissance approfondie de la législation de catégorie 3. Il sera chargé de développer et de gérer un portefeuille axé sur la farine de poisson et l'huile de poisson, tout en surveillant les tendances du marché pour adapter les stratégies commerciales.

Qualifications

• Minimum de 8 ans d'expérience dans le trading d'ingrédients animaux.
• Connaissance approfondie de la législation de catégorie 3 et des logistiques associées.
• Capacité à travailler de manière autonome.

Responsabilités

• Développer des initiatives commerciales pour les ingrédients animaux.
• Identifier et conclure des opportunités rentables sur les marchés mondiaux.
• Gérer le processus commercial complet de manière autonome, de l'approvisionnement à la vente.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio focused on fishmeal, fish oil, and processed animal proteins, whilst leveraging their strong commercial instincts and industry network.Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Drive your own commercial initiatives to develop business in animal ingredients, with a focus on fishmeal, fish oil, and other processed animal by-products (Category 3).
• Identify, pursue, and close profitable opportunities within global markets.
• Build and maintain long-term supplier and customer relationships across the feed, aqua feed, and pet food industries.
• Manage the full commercial process independently, from procurement and sales through to negotiations and contract management.
• Monitor and analyse market trends, translating insights into actionable trading strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Category 3 regulations and oversee related logistics.
• Reports into Manging Director

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in trading animal ingredients (fishmeal, fish oil, processed animal proteins).
• Strong international client and supplier network within feed, aqua feed, or pet food industries.
• Deep knowledge of Category 3 legislation and associated logistics.
• Entrepreneurial, commercially driven and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch; additional languages advantageous.
• Located in Rotterdam, Amsterdam
