Doctolib is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to keep production databases healthy and scalable as the user base grows. You will join a cross-functional team, designing and maintaining core infrastructure databases and automating deployment and maintenance for reliability.

You will collaborate with DBAs, engineers and designers to reduce incidents, improve monitoring, and provide tooling and documentation to enable feature teams. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on production platform experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with datastores such as PostgreSQL, Kafka and/or Couchbase.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Ruby, Python, Go, Java, etc.).
• Fluent English communication.

Responsabilités

• Improve and protect the health of our datastores.
• Empower teams to use datastores efficiently.
• Collaborate with DBAs, principal engineers and SREs from other teams.
• Design, build and maintain core infrastructure databases to scale for many users.
• Automate deployment, scaling and maintenance of databases.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
• Provide documentation and tooling to empower feature teams.
• Mitigate production database issues during working hours.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve reliability.
