Job summary

Dotfile is seeking a highly technical and customer-oriented Solutions Consultant to own the full customer journey from pre-sales through implementation and ongoing success. You will bridge the gap between Sales, Product and Engineering, playing a critical role in both winning new business and ensuring customers get maximum value from Dotfile.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Solutions Consulting, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success Engineering, or similar technical customer-facing role, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or RegTech.
• Strong technical skills with deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication protocols, and modern integration patterns.
• Ability to design technical architectures and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent presentation, demonstration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
• Consultative approach and ability to translate customer challenges into technical requirements.
• Experience managing technical onboarding projects and driving issue resolution end-to-end.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple customers and opportunities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with creative solution design.
• Experience with RegTech or financial services technology is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor during the sales process and design solutions that address customer needs.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand compliance workflows, architecture, and integration requirements.
• Deliver product demonstrations and proofs-of-concept showing how Dotfile solves challenges.
• Design and present tailored integration architectures for each prospect.
• Create technical proposals, solution documentation, and integration plans.
• Respond to technical questions in RFPs and security questionnaires.
• Serve as primary technical contact for accounts during onboarding and beyond.
• Manage the technical aspects of customer onboarding, including integration and deployment.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships for long-term success.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to customers.
• Evaluate usage to identify optimization and expansion opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to communicate customer requirements and influence roadmap.
• Stay current on regulations and competitive landscape.
