Akamai Technologies GmbH is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to join our global Security Professional Services team in a flexible work environment. You will be the primary security services contact, guiding customers through the integration and optimization of Akamai security solutions.

In this role you’ll translate technical capabilities into business outcomes, partnering with customers to develop long-term security strategies and ensure successful deployments across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role within the Information Technology industry.
• Basic experience with web development languages, methodologies, and/or architectures (e.g. J2EE, HTTP, DNS)
• Working knowledge of security and identity technology, process and concepts, and security event management/compliance
• Basic project management experience to deliver technical projects successfully
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers
• Fluency in French and English

• Ensuring customer success by focusing on best practice, helping them develop a long-term security strategy
• Partnering cross-functionally to review and ensure integration efficiency, deliver high-quality service and ensure customer engagement
• Solving technical problems, demonstrating Akamai’s value, and communicating clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences
• Participating in training and internal projects, contributing to best practices, maximising efficiency, and improving service quality
