Bank of America in Chicago is seeking a Specialty Channel Underwriter to drive SBA lending underwriting, structuring and approvals for small business customers. You will assess financials, partnerships and risk to ensure timely, quality credit decisions.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, Solution Advisors and Risk teammates, mentor juniors, and maintain data quality while supporting a high-volume production environment.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of commercial underwriting and credit analysis.
• Minimum 2 years SBA lending experience preferred.
• Formal commercial credit training or equivalent work experience.
• Industry knowledge across multiple sectors.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, underwrite, and approve SBA credit solutions.
• Conduct credit analysis including financial spreads and risk scorecards.
• Evaluate credit worthiness and decision on SBA facilities.
• Ensure underwriting complies with policy and SBA SOP.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Risk teams to deliver SBA solutions.
