Chubb External is seeking a Financial Lines Underwriter specializing in major accounts within Management Liability and Financial Institutions. The role centers on underwriting large, complex risks, actively managing referrals, and building trusted broker and client relationships to drive growth.

The ideal candidate will influence internal partners, maintain a strong pipeline, and ensure underwriting integrity while aligning with senior leadership on market conditions.

Formación

• Experience in Financial Lines underwriting in a carrier or broker.
• Proven ability to manage major accounts and complex risks.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building with brokers and clients.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of major accounts in Financial Lines.
• Achieve quotes and hit rates for new business, focusing on major and complex accounts.
• Collaborate with other lines of business and sales to secure key accounts.
• Maintain a robust new business pipeline and review renewal strategies for retention.
• Lead referrals to underwriting leadership and obtain timely approvals.
• Document robust underwriting rationale for each account.
• Build close relationships with key broker teams and major clients.
• Participate in major account meetings and report market conditions to Head of Financial Lines.
• Assist with policy wording in line with underwriting guidelines with regional specialists.
• Embed cross-sell and growth thinking in underwriting practices.
• Ensure timely and accurate booking of business.
• Communicate escalation requirements to senior management when needed.
