Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a Senior Staff Safety Architect to drive chip and system architectures that meet safety and customer standards. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and de-risk innovations through proofs and data-driven evaluations.

You will define architectures, build system models, run simulations, and lead end-to-end traceability, safety analyses and regulatory documentation for automotive-grade silicon.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or equivalent in Electronics or Microelectronics.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in concept/architecture or analog IC design.
• Strong embedded hardware/software background and full product development lifecycle.
• Experience with behavioral modelling of Analog blocks and mixed-signal verification, bench-level testing, wafer probing, and silicon debug.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and automotive safety standards (AEC-Q100) is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Define chip and system architectures to meet customer and safety requirements.
• Lead architectural explorations: feasibility studies, safety analyses, and data analysis.
• Develop fault-handling strategies and degraded modes of operation.
• Produce and review safety/compliance analyses and documentation for regulatory and ISO 26262 expectations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across systems, product definition, safety, analog design, and verification.
