NXP Semiconductors in Toulouse is seeking a System and Hardware Safety Architect to lead safety concepts for automotive and industrial designs, focusing on 48V energy distribution and SDV architectures.

You will run safety analyses (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA), develop safety manuals, and collaborate with system, IC, hardware and software teams to deliver safe, innovative solutions for next-generation platforms.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with 10+ years' experience preferred.
• Strong experience ISO26262 (part 3,4,5).
• Past work at Automotive Tier 1/2 on HW safety systems.
• Experience in analog power distribution such as PMIC, efuse, DC/DC, gate drivers.

Responsabilités

• Define system, hardware, and software safety concepts for automotive and industrial reference designs.
• Run safety analyses (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, DFA) and other system-level safety assessments.
• Develop safety manuals, application notes, and customer-facing safety collateral to facilitate product adoption.
• Support hardware and software integration teams in implementing safety mechanisms and achieving safety objectives.
• Engage directly with customers to support the integration of NXP solutions and the development of system-level functional safety concepts.
