Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering / Engineering Lead focused on systematic options trading to guide the Options Engineering team and evolve the trading platform. You will drive automated quoting, execution, risk controls, and pricing workflows while collaborating with traders, quants, risk, and product teams.

Based in European or US East Coast time zones, you will shape production reliability and lead architecture decisions with an ownership mindset, delivering scalable and robust trading

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systematic trading, options market-making or low-latency trading systems
• Hands-on in Rust, C++, or C with willingness to deepen Rust
• Strong understanding of algorithmic options trading: automated quoting, execution, pricing, risk controls
• Experience with low-latency trading systems, preferably in options/derivatives
• Production SQL usage with PostgreSQL preferred
• Familiarity with testing, validation, and production-grade practices
• Knowledge of distributed systems, service boundaries, and production reliability

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow the Options Engineering team (≈7 engineers)
• Own and evolve the Rust-native systematic options trading platform
• Provide technical direction across trading infra and system design
• Work with traders, quants, product, risk, and infrastructure stakeholders
• Balance technical leadership with delivery ownership and operational discipline
