Based in France and working in a fully distributed environment, you will design high-quality Rust software on Linux, lead Rust adoption across projects, and collaborate with open source communities globally.
You will contribute across system services, embedded software, desktop, and cloud capabilities, driving architectural decisions and technical advocacy while traveling twice a year for
Qualifications
- Experience designing and developing Rust software on Linux.
- Strong system-level Linux experience across environments.
- Undergraduate CS/STEM degree or equivalent.
- Proven track record with distributed systems and APIs.
- Excellent English communication and collaboration.
Responsabilités
- Design, implement, test, and document Rust software on Linux.
- Advocate for Rust adoption in internal and upstream projects.
- Identify opportunities to apply Rust for reliability and security.
- Review designs, contribute to architectural decisions, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with open source communities across time zones.
- Drive engineering and operational best practices.
- Deploy and operate services where needed.
