Lever, Inc. is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer - Sell Side Engine based in France. This hands-on role focuses on solving complex problems in a rapidly scaling energy technology environment, with ownership from concept to production delivery.

You will work across backend services and contribute to React + TypeScript frontend when needed, turning manual processes into automated, scalable products for new business categories, while maintaining high quality and strong engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Deep backend and systems design experience.
• Strong Python and AWS serverless skills.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into concrete plans.
• Proven collaboration across teams to deliver complex projects.
• Experience in energy/fintech or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own architecture-level decisions for integration-heavy systems and define contracts and failure modes.
• Design foundations connecting new-product initiatives with pricing, data, and billing.
• Translate ambiguous problems into practical, shippable technical plans.
• Contribute to onboarding, growth, and new product categories from concept to production.
• Automate manual workflows to improve scalability and reduce risk.
• Build and maintain backend services and, when needed, React/TypeScript frontend work.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Measure reliability, scalability, and business impact of the systems built.
