Keyrock is seeking a Senior Rust Engineer to join the Capital Markets division. You will design and operate high‑impact, low‑latency trading infrastructure, collaborating with quants and traders across a fully remote global team in European time zones.

You will contribute to continuous improvement in performance and reliability, leveraging Rust and AWS expertise to drive scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance, concurrent systems.
• Hands-on experience in systematic trading environment (HFT/Market Making/Quantitative trading).
• Strong AWS and Linux expertise, including latency-aware cloud infra decisions.
• Proficiency in Python or scripting for automation and tooling.
• Familiar with trading system protocols: FIX, REST, WebSocket.
• Solid understanding of low-latency networking (TCP/UDP, kernel bypass).
• Experience with agentic engineering tools: LLMs, MCP APIs, AI-first IDEs.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions and guide implementation.

• Design, develop, and optimize low-latency trading systems.
• Own key trading stack components end-to-end from architecture to production.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to improve trading performance and resilience.
• Maintain and evolve trading infra focusing on performance, stability, observability, operability.
• Troubleshoot production issues across exchange connectivity, execution, and market data handling.
• Drive engineering standards through leadership, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Leverage AI-assisted workflows and automate operational tasks.
