Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license (Connecticut) required.
• 8–15 years in roadway/highway/transportation engineering.
• Proven transportation project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of CTDOT design standards and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage roadway and highway design projects from planning through construction support.
• Oversee scope, budgets, schedules and resource allocation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, subconsultants, and stakeholders.
• Develop roadway geometry, drainage, utility coordination, traffic control, and construction documentation.
• Serve as primary client contact with CTDOT and municipalities.
• Ensure projects comply with CTDOT, AASHTO, and state/federal standards.
• Perform QA/QC reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
• Assist with proposals, client presentations, and business development.
