Job summary

Metric Geo is partnering with a major contractor to recruit an experienced Project Engineer to lead projects from buyout through closeout. You will support project planning, field operations, and contract compliance while ensuring schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met.

The role requires overseeing monthly billings, reviewing shop drawings, and coordinating with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with codes and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience, including projects >$100M.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly billings, cash flow tracking, and change order processing.
• Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and contract specifications.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and coordinate with QA/QC teams.
• Ensure completed work meets codes, drawings, and specifications.
• Identify critical work items, procure long-lead materials, and schedule deliveries.
