Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Power Systems Architect at our R&D Center in Europe – Grenoble to advance electrical distribution and grid study capabilities. The role involves leading studies from protection to control, and collaborating across business units to tackle new energy challenges.

You will perform simulations on power grid systems, focusing on safety and stability, and drive architecture optimization using Matlab/Simulink and other simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with strong leadership.
• Experience with forward-looking studies and data-driven evaluation.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and applications (data center, EV/buildings, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Carry out studies on new technologies and energy sources.
• Perform simulations on power grid systems focusing on safety, protection, and stability.
• Lead and manage studies within a global mandate across streams and projects.
• Maintain and evolve the library of power systems models and lead the scope of work.
