Jobtailor is seeking a senior electrical engineer for our power stability and grid utilities solutions in Belfort, France. The role collaborates with sales to tailor proposals, interpret complex customer specs, and lead technical negotiations.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics with 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong English, and the ability to work independently within a matrix organization. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical/power electronics.
• Strong knowledge of HV grid stabilization applications for TSOs/DSOs.
• Ability to work independently within a matrix organization.
• Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work concurrently on multiple topics and bids.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English is required.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with the sales team during customer meetings to present and promote our power stability and grid utilities solutions
• Review and interpret customer specifications to propose the best solution from our portfolio of solutions and products
• Prepare clear and concise technical proposals, including deviations from customer requirements
• Travel within France and internationally to visit customers as part of the tendering process
• Lead technical negotiation meetings with customers
• Compile cost lists for proposed solutions with the support of key contributors
• Optimize costs by challenging contributors
• Provide technical expertise and support to sales directors and commercial operations teams

• Review and interpret customer specifications to propose the best solution from our portfolio of solutions and products

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics (engineering school or equivalent)
• At least 5–10 years of experience in electrical/power electronics
• Strong knowledge of HV grid stabilization applications for TSOs/DSOs (synchronous condenser systems, STATCOMs, or BESS-based hybrid solutions)
• Ability to work independently within a matrix organization
• Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work concurrently on multiple topics and/or multiple bids
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent English is required
