Job summary

MatX is seeking a Power Engineer to join the Hardware System team in Mountain View. You will define, design, and validate the complete power architecture for a rack-scale AI data center product, driving efficiency, scalability and performance from rack to chip.

The role combines design and lab work, requires 10–15 years of power experience, and offers a hybrid work setup with on-site presence in Mountain View three days a week. Comprehensive compensation is provided with equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of power design experience.
• Experience with buck DC-DC, multi-phase VRMs, and vertical delivery architectures.
• Proficient in lab bring-up, debug, and design validation.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and validate full power architecture for rack-scale AI data center product.
• Develop power specs, management strategy, and estimation models.
• Implement and test voltage regulator designs to meet specs.
