Syensqo SA is seeking a Customer Technical Development professional in Lyon, France, to provide timely technical expertise and support strategic commercial efforts for our Specialty Polymers in the automotive and electrification space. You will collaborate with R&D, Marketing and Sales to drive new market opportunities and develop applications for the French market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Polymer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of technical support or research in polymer processing technologies.
• Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and materials processing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop technical expertise on existing and new applications of Syensqo’s products in collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Sales and other internal functions.
• Provide proactive technical consultation and subject-matter expertise to anticipate problems and identify solutions for customers and leads.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers at various levels of their organization.
• Network with industry technology managers at final users and within industry associations.
• Gather intelligence on evolving market needs and technology trends.
• Identify new market opportunities with existing and new customers.
• Develop and present new applications to customers and leads.
• Present technologies and products at technical conferences.
• Train customers on the use and benefits of the products.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Prepare and present technical literature/documentation for internal and external use.
• Participate in other activities as assigned or requested.
