Hexcel Corporation seeks a Technical Support Engineer F/H for the Automotive Sector to join one of our French sites in Dagneux or Les Avenières. The role can also be based at another European location or remote.

You will support customers, manage testing, and drive product qualification and development projects. The successful candidate has strong plastics/composites expertise, hands-on testing skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of relevant automotive sector experience, especially in technical support and product development.
• Fluent English; French and other languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical assistance to automotive customers in central Europe.
• Plan, conduct, document, and evaluate tests in production, technical centers, and laboratories.
• Lead application technology and development projects with thorough documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate and execute product qualifications with customers per industry standards.
• Characterize development materials and competitor products to support product development.
• Apply knowledge of composite material design models for automotive applications.
• Compile and verify technical data for product datasheets.
