Yahoo is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to drive CI/CD modernization and GitOps initiatives. You will own key platform components, enable AI-assisted workflows, and ensure secure, reliable pipelines across squads.

You will work in a flexible hybrid setting, collaborating with engineering teams to build reusable templates and document migration steps. Prior experience with Artifactory and enterprise CI/CD platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development or platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on expertise with enterprise CI/CD platforms and reusable workflow modules.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate code generation and docs.
• Experience with Artifactory and release promotion patterns.
• Ability to own and deliver squad-level software features and migrations.

Responsabilités

• Own and deliver platform initiatives across CI/CD modernization and artifact management.
• Leverage AI tooling to build reusable CI/CD actions and deployment scripts.
• Validate configurations and ensure production correctness and security.
• Create reusable pipeline templates and clear developer documentation.
• Support artifact publishing, CI compute optimization, and pipeline fixes.
• Guide squads through platform rollouts and gather feedback for improvement.
• Instrument pipelines with telemetry and monitor time-to-green and reliability.
