Yahoo Sports is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead AI-enhanced quality engineering across web, iOS, Android and cloud services. You will architect scalable test automation, integrate quality gates into CI/CD, and mentor squads across multiple platforms.

The role requires 7+ years in quality engineering or SDET with strong Python/TypeScript/Java skills and deep framework experience. Hybrid work options and strong benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in Quality Engineering or SDET roles with leadership.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development and testing tools.
• Deep expertise in test automation frameworks (Playwright, Appium, Cypress, Selenium).
• Strong skills in testing mobile apps, web apps, APIs and microservices.
• Programming in Python/TypeScript/Java and CI/CD experience.

Responsabilités

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks across Web, mobile, API and cloud services.
• Deploy AI-driven test automation pipelines to generate tests and data.
• Create automated diagnostics and root-cause analysis using observability tools.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with deterministic quality gates.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and product managers to improve testability and risk mitigation.
• Lead defect triage and quality metrics, boosting release stability.
