Yahoo Mail is seeking a senior software engineer to lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact Yahoo Mail web features. You will drive architecture, implement AI-assisted workflows, and ensure code quality and security at global scale.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience on high-scale web applications.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, software architecture and web performance optimization.
• Deep command of modern web frameworks (React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript) and styling (Atomic CSS, CSS3).
• Hands-on with front-end build and testing tools (Webpack, Redux Toolkit, Storybook, Jest, Playwright, RTL).
• Experience using AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code) in daily workflows.

Responsabilités

• Define, design, develop, and ship high-impact features end-to-end for Yahoo Mail web products.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while maintaining architecture, code quality, and security.
• Identify and implement AI-driven efficiencies across the software lifecycle.
• Balance AI outputs with manual review to ensure correctness and security.
• Own end-to-end technical ownership of Yahoo Mail web components at scale.
• Deliver improvements through thorough code reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
• Write clean, testable code, deploy, monitor, and maintain large-scale production systems.
• Mentor engineers and evaluate new tooling to keep the team at the tech forefront.
