Job summary

Ledger is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Lead to guide the mechanical architecture of next-generation devices. You will own CAD, drive complex component integrations, and lead a growing hardware team across a fast-paced crypto product roadmap.

Reporting to the head of engineering, you will ensure robust testing, supplier collaboration, and manufacturing feasibility while advancing CMF goals and overall product quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the consumer electronics industry or related fields.
• Track record shipping devices to market successfully.
• Experience in kicking off tools and processes at scale.
• Strong CAD skills in SolidWorks (preferred) or equivalent (e.g. Creo, Onshape).
• Proficient in tolerance analysis (arithmetic & statistical) and SPC studies.
• Hands-on engineer with leadership ability to develop others.
• Curiosity about the crypto / blockchain industry is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and architecture choices.
• Drive complex integrations of components and structure.
• Own CAD and integrate antenna, PCBA, connectors constraints.
• Define and validate reliability testing specifications.
• Drive molds and tooling processes.
• Own executive relationships with key suppliers.
• Lead and develop the hardware team and mentor juniors.
• Coordinate with hardware and firmware teams for delivery.
• Drive DFM efforts and CMF definition for Ledger devices.
• Prototype and debug devices in lab and perform teardowns.
• Present technical trade-offs to leadership.
