Job summary

Ledger is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Lead in Paris to drive the design of future Ledger devices. You will lead mechanical architecture decisions, own CAD development, and coordinate with antenna, PCBA, and connector constraints to deliver robust hardware.

You will guide a hands-on engineering team, validate reliability specs, and collaborate closely with hardware and firmware teams to ensure on-time program delivery. A crypto-focused mindset is a plus.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in consumer electronics or related industries.
Track record shipping devices to market.
Experience in kicking off tools and processes at scale.
Strong CAD skills in SolidWorks (preferred) or Creo/Onshape with GD&T.
Proficient in tolerance analysis and SPC studies.
Hands-on engineer who can lead and inspire others.
Curiosity about crypto/blockchain is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the Mechanical design and architecture choices for Ledger devices.
Drive complex integrations of components and structures.
Own CAD and ensure constraints from antenna, PCBA, connectors are met.
Define and validate reliability testing specs.
Drive molds and tooling processes.
Own relationships with key suppliers.
Lead and develop the hardware team and mentor juniors.
Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams for smooth program delivery.
Drive DFM efforts and CMF definition at the intersection of vision and manufacturing constraints.
Prototype and debug devices in the lab and perform teardowns.
Present technical trades clearly to leadership.
