Harmattan AI seeks a senior hardware engineer to own electronics design end-to-end for field-deployable drone launchers. You will develop power and mixed-signal PCBs, optimize thermal and power budgets, and ensure robustness in harsh environments.

Collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams is essential to drive production milestones. You will design schematics and layouts (Altium), implement battery-temperature management, and lead DFM/DFA reviews to enable mass production

• Design and ship complex PCBs with a strong focus on power and mixed-signal integration.
• Consideration of thermal, EMC, and environmental conditions for outdoor deployment.

• Design complete schematics for mixed-signal and power boards.
• Lead PCB layout with attention to signal integrity and power routing.
• Define power and thermal architecture and validate battery temperature management.
• Ensure environmental robustness for outdoor deployment and qualification planning.
• Select components with cost, availability, and reliability in mind; optimize BOM.
• Lead hardware bring-up and debugging with test equipment; assist firmware interfaces.
• Address EMC and electrical safety; collaborate with mechanical and embedded SW teams.
• Qualify PCB manufacturers and support NPI transitions; maintain documentation.
