Job summary

Jobgether SRL, listed on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Java Tech Lead / Solution Architect in France. You will own the architecture for a telecom portal and integration platform while mentoring three developers.

The role blends hands-on Java/Spring Boot work with API design, cloud-native patterns, and frontend guidance in React/TypeScript. You will collaborate with international stakeholders, drive secure architecture using OAuth2/OIDC and RBAC, and contribute to a scalable MVP.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial Java development experience and 2+ years in a Tech Lead/Architect role
• Telecommunications sector experience with BSS/OSS platforms preferred
• Strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot backend development with complex integrations
• 3–4 years of React/TypeScript frontend experience and architecture guidance
• Experience designing microservices, event-driven architectures, and DDD
• REST/OpenAPI design, reliable patterns (retries, idempotency, async processing)
• Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs in telecom projects
• Camunda/Flowable or similar workflow engines
• Security: OAuth2, OIDC, Spring Security, RBAC
• AWS and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) with CI/CD
• Proven capacity to mentor developers and lead architectural decisions
• Excellent English communication with UK-based stakeholders and teams
• AI-assisted development tools familiarity (e.g., Claude Code)

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the technical architecture for the customer portal and integration platform
• Lead technical discovery and define MVP implementation strategy
• Design scalable systems with domain models, REST APIs, and microservices
• Contribute hands-on Java/Spring Boot code while balancing architecture and coding
• Guide a three-member full-stack Java team through planning and delivery
• Establish coding standards, reviews, and quality gates
• Shape frontend architecture in React/TypeScript and review UI code
• Design enterprise integrations with reliable patterns (idempotency, retries)
• Drive security and RBAC implementations (OAuth2/OIDC/Spring Security)
• Collaborate with DevOps on AWS, CI/CD, and deployment practices
• Document ADRs and architectural decisions; demo progress to stakeholders
• Explore AI-assisted development to improve productivity
