XRbentsh in Paris seeks a Lead HVAC Engineer to own the HVAC discipline from design through to vendor bid evaluation on large Oil & Gas projects. You will prepare technical documents, define control principles, coordinate interfaces with process, safety and electrical teams, and monitor budgets and schedules.

The role requires 10+ years in HVAC/building services, an engineering degree in thermal energy or equivalent, and knowledge of ASHRAE/ATEX standards. Operational team management is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HVAC/building services experience, with significant exposure to Oil & Gas.
• Engineering degree in thermal engineering, energy or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HVAC standards applicable to industrial facilities and hazardous areas (ASHRAE, ATEX).
• Experience managing an operational team is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Prepare HVAC technical documents: specifications, design basis, thermal calculation notes, equipment lists, schematic diagrams and tender specifications.
• Define control and regulation principles for HVAC systems.
• Manage interfaces with the process, safety, electrical and architecture disciplines.
• Monitor the discipline's man hours budget, schedule and deliverables.
• Review, clarify and technically evaluate vendor offers.
• Coordinate operating centres and the project's engineering partners.
