Job summary

Swan is seeking a freelance Analytics Engineer to bridge the transition between the current Analytics Engineer and their successor. You will design, build, and maintain data marts for payments and onboarding, and oversee Regulatory Reporting models to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Join Swan’s Data team to hand over complete documentation and deliverables to the next engineer, while collaborating daily with product, tech, compliance and business stakeholders in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in analytics/data engineering, owning production models end to end.
• Expert SQL and hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong production experience with dbt: macros, tests, incremental models, packages.
• Experience with Git workflows, code review, and CI for data projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data marts for payments, onboarding, and core domains.
• Run and evolve Regulatory Reporting models; ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
• Ensure consistency: figures reconcile across reports, marts, and source systems.
• Document models, tests, and governance for analysts, auditors and regulators.
