SAP is seeking a skilled distributed systems engineer to own the full development lifecycle of our database cloud platform. You will design and implement scalable data processing components, ensure low latency APIs, and guide reviews to raise architectural quality.

Based at our Paris office in Levallois-Perret, you will collaborate with senior engineers, drive best practices, and help grow the team while delivering high-availability cloud services.

Qualificações

• Deep experience designing distributed systems and multi-threaded production environments.
• Hands-on experience building scalable microservices and high-throughput APIs for data processing.
• Proficiency in Java for production-grade software development.

Responsabilidades

• Own the full development lifecycle — from design to production — of distributed systems powering SAP's database cloud platform.
• Design and build distributed data processing components: efficient protocols, locking, scheduling, auto-scaling, self-healing.
• Deliver scalability and performance through concurrency and parallelization in distributed environments.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs with low-latency access to distributed storage.
• Lead code and design reviews to uphold engineering quality and deepen system architecture knowledge.
