Vibe in Paris is seeking a senior data platform engineer to own Vibe's data backbone, including storage, batch compute, and real-time reporting.

You will scale petabytes of data, work with Spark, DuckDB, Trino, and ClickHouse, and design end-to-end pipelines while managing on-call reliability.

Join a fast-moving team solving complex ad-tech data challenges and collaborating with Product and ML to drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production data platforms at real scale.
• Deep lakehouse experience with storage and compute engines.
• Experience with modern orchestrators (Dagster, Airflow, Prefect).
• Proven impact: a pipeline or query made faster or cheaper with a measurable story.
• On-call and incident response experience with actual runbooks.

Responsabilités

• Own data platform tooling and services for data-hungry teams.
• Store and access petabyte-scale event data and run scalable compute.
• Build in-app reporting on an OLAP DB like ClickHouse.
• Orchestrate batch and real-time data movement across the stack.
• Collaborate with Product, ML, and Finance to translate requests into deliverables.
