Vibe.co in Paris is seeking a senior engineer to design and operate large-scale data processing systems. You will own end-to-end projects across Kafka, Spark, and ClickHouse, building batch pipelines with Dagster and driving architecture decisions.

You will optimize performance and costs, contribute to developer tooling and CI/CD, and collaborate with data, ML, and product teams while maintaining reliability through alerts and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Rust.
• Experience with Kafka, Spark, Iceberg or object storage; ClickHouse or similar analytics databases; AWS; Kubernetes; infrastructure-as-code.

Responsabilités

• Designing and operating Kafka event processing.
• Building batch pipelines with Dagster.
• Managing ClickHouse Cloud ingestion and queries.
• Driving projects end-to-end.
• Setting architecture decisions.
• Building developer tooling and CI/CD.
• Ensuring reliability and operational excellence with alerts and incident response.
