Job summary

Pennylane is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Self Service Analytics team within the Data department. You will translate business requirements into scalable data models, build robust ETL pipelines and shape our data lake architecture to empower data-driven decisions across the company.

You will own data platform components, collaborate with analysts, and contribute to data governance, quality, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Translate complex business requirements into robust data models.
• Experience building ETL pipelines and data warehouses.
• Collaborate with analysts to deliver data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Join the Self Service Analytics team and contribute to the data engineering community.
• Model data as a product and shape data in the data lake across the medallion architecture.
• Build and maintain the analytics platform, including ingestion, validation and production data assets.
• Contribute to data governance, data catalog maintenance and data quality standards.
• Design and implement data solutions including ETL pipelines, batch processing and data warehousing.
• Collaborate with other data engineering teams on streaming and infrastructure.
