Job summary

Keyrock is hiring for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Central Data Team. You will build streaming and batch pipelines ingesting market, trading, and portfolio data, while shaping data contracts and the lakehouse design.

You will enable other teams with SDKs, templates, and AI agents, promoting self-service data usage across trading desks, wealth management, and risk groups. You will own schema evolution, ensure data quality, and drive cost-aware, observable data systems from day one.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of building production data systems that other people rely on.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL: not just writing a query, but understanding engine behavior.

Responsibilities

• Build streaming and batch pipelines for market, trading, and portfolio data.
• Create self-serve tooling (SDKs, templates, AI agents) for data product consumption.
• Own data contracts and schema evolution; minimize cross-team coordination.
• Design lakehouse and time-series layer around common query patterns.
• Develop Data Governance and Data Quality Framework (validation, lineage, ownership).
• Develop derived analytics for cross-exchange spreads, VWAP, order book insights, and portfolio views.
