Aligned Data Centers is seeking a Senior Design Manager to drive complex design programs for colocations and hyperscale builds. You will lead design teams, coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors, and ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and a deep understanding of data center design and MEP systems. You’ll report to the Construction/Design leadership and collaborate across internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• 9+ years progressive experience managing commercial construction project design programs, with data center experience preferred.
• Mechanical/Electrical background preferred.
• Advanced experience in Excel, Smartsheets and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task with time/change management.

Responsabilités

• Drive projects from inception through customer turnover, leading in preconstruction and design phases.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, suppliers and operations for safe, compliant site activities.
• Support CM from mobilization to turnover to Operations.
• Collaborate with sales/solutions engineering to meet technical deliverables.
• Manage design team through progress gates and documentation.
