Serverfarm seeks a seasoned Preconstruction Manager to lead design, preconstruction and early construction activities on multiple data center projects. You will coordinate daily with contractors, engineers, clients and vendors to keep preconstruction work organized, aligned and ready for execution.

The role requires 7+ years in construction management and 5+ years in power delivery design, a related Bachelor’s, and a PE license preferred. Travel up to 25% should be expected across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction management, design, design management, or relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience with power delivery design and/or HV and EHV substation construction.
• Proven ability to build and lead complex technical design discussions across engineering teams, consultants, contractors, owners, and clients.
• Strong stakeholder alignment skills and ability to drive consensus across technical and non-technical groups.
• Working knowledge of preconstruction management, including design-phase budgeting, constructability reviews, value engineering, scope validation, and early risk identification.

Responsabilités

• Lead coordination between engineering teams, consultants, contractors, owners, and clients to define project scope and align technical requirements.
• Drive alignment of owner and client inputs with design standards, budget targets, cash flow considerations, and early schedule milestones.
• Own CDE completion along with BOD generation/deviation mgmt.
• Participate in Client contract/SLA reviews against the CDE and BOD.
• Generate and own initial project schedule and track deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
