Develop legal cases and reference work that reflect counsel-level responsibility. Evaluate model analyses, drafting and strategic choices with explicit rubrics, resolve nuanced legal issues and provide the reasoning needed for consistent assessment by other reviewers.

Practice scope

This route requires eight to fifteen post-qualification years and current counsel, senior-associate, senior in-house or assistant-GC responsibility, with JD, active US bar and professional LLM use. It is distinct from early-career and partner/GC tiers.

Professional background

This route calls for eight to fifteen years of substantive practice after legal qualification and responsibility at counsel, senior associate, senior in-house counsel or assistant general counsel level. Hold an accredited JD and a US bar admission in good standing; a highly ranked school is preferred. Internship or clerkship experience alone is insufficient. Demonstrate ownership of matters in a substantive field such as transactions, disputes, IP, employment, tax or regulation. Professional use of language models and the ability to critique their legal reasoning are required, alongside precise written analysis. Availability is planned around forty hours weekly over an initial six months, subject to agreement with IXO.

Working arrangements

This is remote, paid IXO expert work. Agree the specific task brief, permitted materials, outputs and working schedule with IXO before starting. Any commitment or duration described in a practice profile is an indicative planning requirement for that route, subject to that agreement.

Pay

$90 $130/hr USD. The applicable rate is agreed for the work and professional track before you begin.
