Pennylane is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel, Contracts to partner with Sales, Partnerships, Security, Finance and Product. You will draft, negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, from drafting through signature and post-signature follow-up.

You will help make contracting processes scalable, contribute to templates, playbooks and a strong legal culture, while advising across France-based and European operations. Hybrid Paris or remote across FR/DE is offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with extensive contract law experience, esp. IP/IT, technology or SaaS.
• Fluent in English; working knowledge of French and German.
• Expertise in B2B SaaS agreements including IP, indemnification, liability caps, SLAs and data provisions.
• Autonomous; able to manage end-to-end matters.
• Experience in multi-jurisdictional environments across France and Europe.
• Interest in legal operations and technology; experience automating contract management tools.
• Business partner mindset; able to move teams quickly while protecting the company.
• Rigorous, concise; able to explain complex topics to non-legal audiences.
• Comfort in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and rapid iteration.

Responsabilités

• Draft and negotiate international contracts with partners outside France, starting with Germany.
• Review and manage customer, reseller and integrator agreements; support sales and partnerships.
• Lead legal operations: optimize contract management tools and templates; develop playbooks.
