CarCutter is seeking a Senior / Lead Computer Vision Engineer to own CV and generative AI features from research through production deployment. This is primarily an individual contributor role with 80% hands-on work and 20% technical leadership.

You will work on production-grade AI systems, collaborate with software engineers and product managers, and push the boundaries of automotive visual production with scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, ML, CV, or related field.
• 6+ years of industry experience in AI, ML, or computer vision.
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills.
• Hands-on experience across the computer vision stack: segmentation, detection, refinement.
• Experience deploying ML models to production with monitoring and maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Own computer vision and generative AI features end to end, from research to production deployment.
• Evaluate state-of-the-art computer vision and generative AI technologies with rigorous benchmarks.
• Design, implement, and optimize production-grade pipelines for inference performance and scalability.
• Share technical context, processes, resources, and best practices with the team.
