European Tech Recruit seeks a senior leader to own Functional Safety for AI within embedded automotive systems. You will shape safe development and deployment of AI-enabled features, guiding safety architecture, AI integration, and certification readiness.

As a technical leader, you will translate roadmaps into projects, lead a multi-disciplinary team, and ensure safe, robust delivery across complex programs in the automotive domain.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in safety-related embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and automotive safety standards.
• Proven track record delivering complex technical projects.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML in embedded systems and their safe deployment.
• Ability to connect architecture, safety and execution teams.

Responsabilités

• Translate Safety and AI roadmap into defined innovation projects.
• Develop system safety concepts for AI-enabled features in embedded systems.
• Convert AI behaviour into safety requirements, controls and verifications.
• Apply model validation, robustness testing, fault injection, and runtime safety measures.
• Identify gaps and feed insights into the roadmap.
• Support ISO 26262 compliance in development processes.
• Coordinate transition of projects into product environments.
• Lead the Safety and AI innovation team and mentor engineers.
• Ensure delivery of multidisciplinary programs on time and within scope.
