PIXID is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design and build scalable microservices in Java/Spring Boot. You will contribute to an ambitious transformation and work with a highly configurable platform used by international stakeholders.

The role emphasizes event-driven architectures with Kafka, zero-trust security, PostgreSQL optimization, and adherence to clean code, testing, and observability. Join a collaborative agile squad to shape next-generation services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development with Java/Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka or similar brokers.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL including optimization and materialized views.
• Understanding of zero-trust security principles.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices familiarity.
• English (C1) and French (B2+) proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement microservices in Java/Spring Boot following domain-driven design.
• Develop event-driven services using Kafka or similar brokers.
• Implement zero-trust security through authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and use materialized views for performance.
• Champion engineering best practices, clean code, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality and observability.
