Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development with Java/Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka or similar brokers.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL including optimization and materialized views.
• Understanding of zero-trust security principles.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices familiarity.
• English (C1) and French (B2+) proficiency.

Develop scalable, secure services, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to our event-driven architecture.

Collaborate with our PO to define features and technical solutions (services and APIs) for our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Microservices Development: Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot, following domain-driven design principles

• Event-Driven Systems: Develop event-driven services using Kafka or similar platforms, implementing event sourcing and CQRS patterns

• Zero-Trust Implementation: Build services with zero-trust security principles, implementing proper authentication, authorization, and encryption

• Database Optimization: Work with PostgreSQL to design efficient schemas, implement materialized views for performance optimization, and manage data consistency

• Best Practices Champion: Promote and implement engineering best practices, including clean code, SOLID principles, comprehensive testing, and documentation

• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, implement automated testing strategies, and maintain high code quality standards

• Observability: Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and tracing for distributed systems

6+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring frameworkStrong understanding of microservices architecture patterns and RESTful API designExperience with event-driven architecture and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including query optimization and materialized viewsUnderstanding of zero-trust architecture and security best practicesExperience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps principlesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailLanguages: English C1 - French B2+Nice to HaveFamiliarity with API gateway patternsUnderstanding of Domain-Driven Design and hexagonal architecture
