Overt Minds is seeking a highly skilled Lead Backend Developer to join our remote team. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Java 17, Spring, and MySQL, while shaping the backend architecture in a headless setup.

You will also build frontend components with React.js in a headless context, design cloud solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP, and own CI/CD pipelines with Maven, Git, and Docker. Mentoring juniors and guiding architectural decisions are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java (preferably Java 17) and the Spring ecosystem.
• Strong experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Proficiency in React.js with headless architecture.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Git, and Docker.
• Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
