Pixid is looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our squad and help scale microservices in a fast-moving, agile environment. You will design, implement and operate services with Java/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns, collaborating closely with product and frontend teams.

We value strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and zero-trust security, plus a passion for clean code, testing, and observability as we transform our platform across Europe.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development with Java and Spring.
• Strong understanding of microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Knowledge of zero-trust security principles.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• CI/CD practices and DevOps mindset.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop event-driven services with Kafka or similar.
• Apply zero-trust security across services and data.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and use materialized views.
• Promote engineering best practices, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain code quality.
• Implement observability with logging, metrics, and tracing.
