Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years as backend developer with a focus on PHP, Go, NodeJS, or Java.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects and improving product performance.
• Deep expertise in non-framework development and OO design.
• Ability to use AI tools (Claude) across development phases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (AWS/Azure, Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

About The Role

As a Senior Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our critical backend systems.

You’ll work closely with Product Managers to translate business needs into technical solutions and collaborate with the Infrastructure team to ensure robust, scalable, and high-performing applications. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain highly performant, scalable, and secure PHP/NodeJS applications (+ other modules in Go/python) for our core backend engine

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant field,

• 7+ years of experience as a backend Developer in a professional environment, with a significant focus on a backend language (PHP, Go, NodeJS, Java).

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects and demonstrating measurable impact on product performance or stability.

• Deep expertise in non-framework development and object-oriented programming principles.

• Ability to use AI tools (Claude) on all phases of the development (analysis, implementation, tests, cross-functional automations).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization (e.g., Docker) and Salesforce is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues efficiently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
