Alignerr is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale AI infrastructure software in a remote, flexible contract role. You’ll shape production-grade systems used in AI training, evaluation, and deployment, with autonomy and ownership in a fast-moving environment.

The role requires 5+ years of experience and proficiency in Python or TS/JavaScript, plus cloud and distributed systems know‑how.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade software systems that support AI training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
• Write clean, well-tested, and performant code in Python, TypeScript, or other modern languages.
• Build and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and backend services that operate reliably at scale.
• Architect solutions balancing speed of delivery with long-term maintainability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate asynchronously with ML engineers, researchers, and product managers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Work independently on well-scoped projects with ownership and autonomy.
